"Living by the Pembrokeshire coast I am continuously moved to paint by the beautiful and dramatic landscape that surrounds my home, the ever changing quality of light and its effects on the colours of the landscape. My work is not always representational however, often the landscape becomes a metaphor for more internal concerns: Landscape is a language that I use to describe less tangible subjects; thoughts, feelings, emotions"
